Lionel Charles is the CEO of IndiaFilings.com. He holds a Bachelors in Accounting & Computer Science and MBA in Airline Management. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA - USA) - holding a Commercial Pilot License. After completing his education in the USA and working for a short while with Lufthansa System in Miami, Florida, Lionel returned to India in 2010 to start a business.

In 2014 after a failed venture, Lionel launched IndiaFilings.com in a small room with one employee to make it easier for Entrepreneurs to start a company in India. Over the last 5 years, the company has grown to over 500+ employees in 7 offices across India while being bootstrapped. The company has over 15 million users and 70,000 clients.

Today IndiaFilings helps tens of thousands of Entrepreneurs each year start a business by providing various services like incorporation, trademark filing, GST registration, bank account opening, GST return filing, income tax filing, etc., on a single platform. Following the success of IndiaFilings.com, Lionel launched LEDGERS Accounting Platform. LEDGERS is a completely integrated suite of cloud-based tools to help you with invoicing, payments, accounting, inventory management, payroll, GST compliance and more. LEDGERS is integrated with ICICI Bank for Connected Banking, the GSTN Portal, Income Tax Portal and different payment gateway solutions.
